CheeseFest 2013 Patron - Simon Bryant
We thank Simon Bryant for his ongoing support of CheeseFest, and as our Patron for CheeseFest 2013.
Simon's support of this event, the South Australian cheese makers and producers, restaurants and wineries is a testament to the commitment and passion he has for South Australian food.
Simon was Executive Chef at Hilton Adelaide from 2001 to 2009 overseeing 55 kitchen staff and 1000 meals daily in Hiltons two restaurants and South Australia’s largest hotel conference and events facility. He also co-hosted 152 episodes of the ABC's "the Cook and the Chef" with Maggie Beer and has authored a book on cooking "Vegies".

Simon passionately believes in using his profile to highlight Ethical Food issues, including paying fair prices to producers for ethical foods, using local seasonal food with less environmental impact, the use of Australian native foods, and in particular the ethical treatment of animals in the food chain..
