The Cannoli Box Co. was established in 2019, as a side-hustle by John-Paul Romeo and has since grown from a small presence at the rear of a fruit and veg store, to a popular cafe in Prospect.
Owners, John-Paul and Liana Romeo, offer cannoli, piped-fresh daily, using top quality South Australian ricotta by La Casa Del Formaggio. Flavours include traditional Sicilian ricotta, chocolate and vanilla custard - a family recipe handed down generations and new, experimental flavours like ferrero rocher, biscoff, caramilk and kinder.
Product offerings have expanded beyond cannoli grazing boxes to include cannoli towers, the Bazooka, roaming cannoli and Adelaide’s first cannoli cart - often seen at weekend markets, cultural festivals, and corporate and social events like weddings and birthdays, around the city.
The Cannoli Box Co. has loved being part of CheeseFest Adelaide over the years and congratulates the festival on its milestone 20th birthday.
