It started with Milawa Blue, a nod to that life-changing Gorgonzola that founders David and Annie Brown fell in love with on their travels. Our Milawa Blue is now one of Australia’s most iconic and beloved blues. They forged ahead, adapting traditional European methods to suit our unique Australian cheesemaking conditions. First out of necessity, and now out of respect for the craft, they hooped, salted, brushed, turned and wrapped every cheese by hand. Three decades on we’re still driven by the passion that kickstarted this crazy journey – the simple delight of bloody good cheese that makes people happy.
